Shipping, Return and Cancellation Policy for Online Sales

Shipping Policy

Sid's ships throughout the 50 United States and Canada via UPS (United Parcel Service) or USPS. We typically ship items immediately as they become available. Our goal is to inform you when an item is not available for immediate shipment. While you may receive more than one shipment per order, there is no additional shipping charge. We process orders on a first-come, first-served basis. In-stock items on orders placed before 3 PM EST will typically be shipped out the same day.

From time to time Sid's may offer free ground shipping on orders as a promotion. These free shipping promotions are exclusive of coupons and other site promotions and apply to shipping within the United States only. Orders receiving the free shipping promotion will ship when all items in the order are available to be shipped. When an item is returned for a refund, your refund amount will be less the shipping costs that were originally free with your purchase.

You will be notified of the tracking number for your package(s) via email. To ensure you receive your tracking number, please ensure that your email address on your account is correct.

Shipping options are all based on business days. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday. The day an order is processed does not count as a shipping day. UPS does not deliver on Saturday under our standard options. If you need Saturday delivery, please highlight this request in your order comments during checkout or call us to confirm pricing/availability of special shipping.

To prevent fraud, customers who are shipping to an address other than their billing address will be requested to authorize the secondary address with their credit card provider. Signatures are required for high-value deliveries.

Shipping Internationally: International orders are shipped via TNT air. International shipping rates are setup as a flat rate for various countries. The flat rate method is offered for ease of estimating. In certain circumstances, the actual cost for shipping may be higher or lower than the flat rate you will be charged, however, you will not be charged additional or refunded any difference between the actual and our flat rate. Other shipping arrangements can be arranged for special situations. Please contact customer service for assistance.

Return Policy

We want our customers to get the perfect product for the project and be happy with the result. We realize that occasionally you may receive something that turns out not to be exactly what you needed or wanted, so if a product needs to be returned we make it easy.

Any item (except special order or custom configured) can be returned within 30 days of receipt of the product. A 15% restocking fee will be charged. No returns will be accepted more than 30 days after product has been received. Initial shipping charges are not refundable and customer is responsible for any return shipping charges unless otherwise noted. All products must be returned in 'AS NEW' condition - the way it was received, in its original packaging and in 100% resalable condition. Please email mail@sidsbikes.com for any questions and to obtain the Return Goods Authorization Process (RGA). Any item returned without a pre-authorized RGA number will not be credited. Installed products cannot be returned for credit (unless product is defective). Special order and custom configured items are not returnable unless product is defective (please see special order policy below).

Refunds

Returns are inspected at our warehouse upon receipt; if the item is determined to have been installed or used in any way (except in case of defect), credit will not be given and the product can be returned to you at your cost. Refund for any returned merchandise is processed after inspection and within 30 days of receipt of the returned merchandise. Special order returns will only be credited if the item is deemed to be defective upon return.

Damaged orders

Customers assume responsibility if damaged merchandise is signed for at the time of delivery. All shipments must be inspected at the time of delivery; if you suspect damage, please note 'damaged' with your signature or refuse the entire delivery and contact us immediately.

If a customer signs for a common carrier delivery and does not note any damage, then it is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the freight company to recoup the damages. If concealed damages are reported within 48 hours for UPS or FED-EX deliveries, we can file a claim on behalf of the customer and work to resolve it.

To return any product, you must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). To obtain an RGA and shipping instructions, please contact us at mail@sidsbikes.com. Requests for returns are generally processed within 2-4 days and you will receive shipping instructions along with your RGA in your email. Once a RGA number is issued, the returned product needs to be returned within 30 days.

Please note: items returned without an RGA will not be credited. When returning products, be sure to use UPS or other courier service that can provide you with a tracking number for your return. Faucet.com will not be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit and/or do not have proper tracking information.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order, for any reason, and receive a full refund provided your order has not been shipped. Typically, most orders are shipped the same day they are received. Our customer service desk can inform you of the status of your order and advise you whether or not the order can be cancelled for a full refund. Once an item is shipped the terms of our Returns policy will take effect.

Special Orders

Oftentimes we are able to order products for our customers that are hard to find elsewhere and are not supported by our regular inventory, these orders are considered custom or special orders. Special order items are shown on the website and listed as “Special order item” in the details of the item. Special order items are non-returnable unless defective. In addition, all custom configured items (includes complete bicycles) are treated as Special order items, and are not returnable. If you decide you no longer want the item you may be able to cancel the order if it has not been completed. Please contact customer service to determine whether a special order can be cancelled.
